That model still had the BSR turntable, with the actual genuine Chuo Denshi ceramic cartridge, when used with better speakers it sounded really good. That belt is OBVIOUSLY worn out. To compare a Sony to a Soundesign is like trying to compare a Yugo to a Mercedes!

Thought I was out of black ink and replaced it, new ink cartridge doesn't work. Tried to clean the ink head still doesn't work. Then noticed black ink inside and found this video, 🤬.

2:00 Same issue with my Panasonic RC-6099 Alarm Clock. I love it and it is everything I wanted in an alarm clock with a little more. But the buttons are so hard to press. I took it apart and put electrical tape where the plastic meets the button inside to make it easier to press. I guess next time I will get only a sealed brand new clock. Plastic must wear away, was it like that new hard to press?

No I don't think the cs stood for colour screen. For active colour screens Apple just used c, for passive colour screens they used cs, and the 5300ce was the only laptop to ever use ce.

Embarrassed to say I bought this one new. Anyway, it's now making a kind of buzzing noise when it prints. So if you still (12 years later!) have this printer LMK.

I'm playing this in band and it's beyond doubt one of the most majestic pieces I've ever had the pleasure of playing. The 2nd clarinet part is really simple, so as I'm playing, I get to listen to others more and that makes it all the more fun. The trash can part at measure 49 really brings this piece to life, I should say, but in my opinion, there is no single best part since all of it is an emotional ride from start to finish. Thank you, Mr. Hazo, and thank you to the saint who took the trouble to post this ^-^

I think the fan on top should be sucking the hot air up through the side vents on the bottom of the case. the power supply board is on the left side if you are looking straight at the screen - apple recommended back in the 80's to point a desk fan at the left side of the case to cool it. Not sure you really need to point it full blast down into the case though :-)

I played this in 8th grade for my spring concert and still to this day it is my favorite piece I have played besides maybe Four A Remix of Beethoven. It was written for Upper St. Clair High School in Pennsylvania which is the rival school of Mount. Lebanon the high school I would have gone to if I had stayed in Pennsylvania.

I played this song for district honor band back in 7th grade and it was the best expirence I got to live. This piece brings back so many memories.

The RS cleaners were mainly sold in retail at stores such as Best Products, Montgomery Ward & Service Merchandise. Retail sales in the mid- to late- 1980s were an experiment that later proved unsuccessful as door to door customers typically paid a great deal more for roughly the same product with a different model name, colors and perhaps a few extra accessories.

Due to the 1985 merger of Electrolux Canada Ltd. & Electrolux Corporation USA the Pointe Claire plant in Canada made the parts for the Regency Series line along with some others of the period (late '80s to circa 1990) & imports to the US were assembled at the Bristol plant. When Sara Lee bought back the company in 1990 from Electrolux execs, Canadian production and printing ceased. When the stock was depleted, the RS line was discontinued. Other cleaners in the series were the 1000 1500, & 2000 tanks, and the Model 2101A shampooer-polisher.

ridiculous! my hp 5520 has the same problem. if anyone has fixed this issue please share. I have tried cleaning the cartridge thinkinjg the black ink was blocked but thats not the case. Took it out and cannot see any leaks from the cartridge. But the problem persists.

Sony has better cartridge why sounds better

Mrtechguy94 you can get a belt for So design on eBay they also have motors and stylus for it. Better than a Crosley

Ugh, during last 2 years I feel like I have replaced the ink cartridges much more than amount of printing I am doing and ink being used. Had a printhead issue and discovered a large pool of ink in the bottom of the printer. What a mess.

My Sony LX300USB turntable plays LPS slightly faster than the same songs from a CD. This turntable should have a dial or knob with a digital display to allow me to reduce the speed to my desire. I would love to play LPS slightly slower than the actual speed because you will hear lower bass frequencies that way but this Sony turntable plays them slightly faster and this is not acceptable to me. I'll have to return this turntable to the seller.
